You can see the boxes of supplies next to me and Mike and the black grease from the blubber that was burnt for light and heat. The picture below us is the mutton carcass hanging on the wall that is close to 100 years old! Gross! The bones to the right are penguin skeletons.
This picture above is of supplies that were left behind in the hut. The picture below is pieces of seal blubber and a seal backbone. Are you hungry yet? The books say the mens' eyes were constantly bleary and red from the burning of blubber and their faces were blackened from it.

Wow! I have a friend I work with that said she will bring me those books and Scott. So I will read about him. Andrea looks so good, rosy cheeks and all. Mike you are so handsome with those whiskers. I think you will need to find some kind of secret if your competion is in January. Does it keep you warmer? I love the new pics. I love you guys!! Ashley
