Last week Mike saw an Adelie penguin at the ice runway. It was a cute little guy standing on a snow bank looking all regal and fat. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures but we will hopefully start seeing more life now that it is warming up.
We have also seen the Skua bird. It is an aggresive bird that looks like a big, grey seagull. Apparently, if you walk out of the dining hall with food it will attack you. One of the practical jokes here is to put a muffin or something inside someone's hood right before they go outside and then watch as the skua attacks. No other wildlife reports yet...
