Wow! We are in our last week down here. It is strange how time plays games with your emotions. Just ten days ago, Andrea said "In ten ten days, we only have a week left." This seemed like forever. Now we are looking at a very short week before we leave the ice. We are both looking forward to and are sad about leaving. We are ready to go but we have some great friends down here not to mention the fact that this is a magical place.
We have enjoyed our experience down here and are looking forward to the next few months of travel. If all goes as planned, we will leave here on Feb 23 and end up in New Zealand. Tramp around New Zealand for a few weeks (with Mike's folks). On March 14, fly to Hawaii and go to Kauai (with Andrea's mom and Rene). March 20 fly to South Korea and hang out with Joey D and Suzy. April 4th - fly to Los Angeles. Hang out with Kim and relive Mike's glory days in college (nothing like Old School, think Revenge of the Nerds taking out the revenge part). April 7th fly home - YEAH!!!!
We are very excited about all of this and will be even more excited if we can get teaching jobs lined up for the fall so we don't have to worry about work.

Um- I think we are ready for you to leave. I also hope somewhere in you wordly travels you don't forget to come see us west texans. I know it is hard to leave, but you have to come back sometime. Do you think you both will return? Maybe by then I can come visit or hang out. I sure miss my sis, and I miss my new brother in law I haven't got to spend much time with. I hope your travel will be fun and safe. Make sure to give Mike's parents a hug and to tell Joey hello too. Have a blast. I love you sooo much- Ashley
