Second Place

I (Mike) ran in the Avon Cruzada Mundial Contra el Cancer de Mama (Avon Breast Cancer Run) today.  It was a really fun 10k and I feel pretty good considering I haven't been training too much.  I ran the race with one of my students and the counselor at our school.  The student's mom was going to run but couldn't at the last minute so I took her spot and was registered in her name.

As it turns out, I got second in my age group: Women's 55+ and if I had been 30 seconds faster I would have won my age group.  I think I have new strategy for future races...
